It pisses me off so much, when guys blame my disagreement, anger or frustration on my period. Funny thing is that every time this happened to me I WAS NOT ON MY PERIOD. Next time this happens I will let them know that the whole angry period girl thing is nothing but a myth!

When I was little and still didn't know a lot about periods, I thought that tampons and pads were the same thing. One time, i was staying at my aunt's house and I asked her if she had any tampons. I meant to ask her for a pad, but as I said before, I didn't realize there was a difference. My aunt FLIPPED OUT when I asked her! She went on a rant about how tampons are for "non-virgins" and how I should be ashamed of having sex at my age(I was 9-10). When she finally realized that I had misspoken, she laughed it off, but she still made sure to tell me that only "non-virgins" can wear tampons. 
Now that I am older and I've done some research, I realize how absurd and uninformed my aunt was. My aunt has an engineering doctorate from Columbia University and she doesn't even know how a vagina works? WTF?

I never knew that the period syncing thing was a myth! My sister and I used to complain about how we threw off each other's cycles when we visit... guess friend magic is to blame!

Why are weddings, and events leading up to a wedding, so heavily gendered? Like the bridal shower is traditionally a girls-only event, while bachelor parties are no-girls-allowed.

That last one. *Thank you *. I've always been so pissed off by this myth, because my mood never changes off and on my period, so I never thought it was ever a thing that women ever experienced.

I think the weirdest euphemisms for periods I've heard are "having the painters in" and "riding the cotton pony."

Nope, nope.
The syncing is real. One science experiment does not prove that syncing doesn't occur. I've experienced it in each household I've lived in. During my student years (I studied at university 3 times for 3 degrees), I've lived in over 10 shared houses. Syncing occurred in each house except the all male house.

I have only ever missed one period in my life when my grandpa got sick and passed away and I started college (living at home) a month later. I had it on the first day of classes and when it was over, I didn't get it again until Halloween. I'm still a virgin, but I still thought something was wrong "down there" but my mom reassured me "No, you've had a stressful past few months." I have also been up to 2 weeks late during the summer months.

I think the menstruation synchronization is still true, if you spend enough time with them. My mom, sister, and I were always on the same schedule growing up, and I remember once in girl scout camp, EVERY SINGLE GIRL except two who hadn't gotten their periods yet were all at the same time- between 20-25 girls.

I was pretty regular, and then I moved in with my roommate for the first time and she was on her period; I started two weeks early.

I died laughing when she introduced herself as "the reason all your white pants are ruined", although for me it's a bit more like "the reason I only own one pair of white shorts and no white pants and even if I did why the heck would I even wear white pants on my period"
