im happy at the fact that my dad doesn't let me do those 'rituals' for periods which my mom says.
i can openly talk to him about periods and ask him to get me pads

Main reason is that people don't want to know about any kind of misconception of any problem ...that I can say education is most important thing for any person male or female

It used to be celebrated back then for the first period, but throughout cultural invasions, the old culture changed and became like this. The reason is the Ayurvedic knowledges not being passed over generations. We should all get back to the Ayurvedic ways of life.Soon as we promote old Ayurvedic knowledges to every people of country, the changes are inevitable.🙏🙏🙏

As much as I agree with u, even if u improve the level of awareness, people with low income have hard time providing 2 meals a day to their family let alone buying a sanitary pad packet. Sanitary napkins are not affordable to all economic strata in India which is a shame. The problem mainly lies in the cost of these products. If these were cheaply available, lot more women would be willing to buy disposable sanitary products.

Big round of applauses.
This is very much needed.
Do you conduct workshops or school visits regarding this?.
Like minded should get together to make this change on a large scale.

If the topic 'period ' is not so open to all then I don't know how people will react to those girls who don't have period bags. 1 girl in lakh don't have a period bag & it's normal but the girl doesn't feel like normal because no one talks about how girl feels without periods.
It's alright if girl doesn't have a period bag from birth. No one covers this kind of topics. Soon I'll start talking about this topics with 6th standard girls by visiting schools to aware them at early age.
