Green Dots on monitor pls help

I have a GTX Palit 1050 I’ve tried wiggling the hdmi cable and even replacing it with a new HDMI cable.. It’s also making ticking sounds from the monitor

you have to get to the back of your computer and grab and if it changed that means the screen is changing colour

Replug the HDMI cable on both ends
Try taking the power cable and plugging it back in in 30 seconds
Try setting the refresh rate to something lower than back to what it was
Go into your monitor’s menu and reset it
Let the monitor warm up

Having the same problem, GPU is okay, because with other monitors is working perfectly fine, cable is fine too. The monitor is the problem or the cable is not good for the monitor (VGA>HDMI)

Just tilt your hdmi cable, if you add a little bit of force it stays tilted and the screen is fine

Same thing happened to me and I have a solution, so for me my hdmi wasn’t plugged all the way in and check the connecter for the screen and see if it’s plugged in properly

For for me, I found out it wasn’t my monitor It was actually my GPU that had died or was in the middle of dying because we had a outage not too long ago and I didn’t have a surge protector and it fried some of the GPU cores so make sure you have a surge protecter

Mine has been doing this but then the screen just freezes as theres green dots everywhere and then the screen just turns black, and this usually happens after i startup my pc for 5 mins sometimes it might last longer but does the same thing, my moniter also says no signal alot of times when starting up the pc even tho everything is plugged correctly, any solutions?

Just unplug and plug back in ur hdmi cord

It could be from the monitor but 60% it's from the gbu

I have had two ViewSonic monitors and both of them are broken. Don't even go near this brand, friends. They are scammers.

maybe your vga or hdmi cable is loosen, just tighten it.

I just fixed mine, just now . All you have to do is plug your hdmi wire correctly, maybe it's loosened. That's how I fixed mine . Hope it helps. ❤
