Great review as always. But saying the NXR needs a drop-down visor I feel is missing the point of the helmet. The way I see it when it comes to Shoei is if you want a sporty helmet with the best protection and/or something you can take to the track you have two options:

The X-Spirit -- which is the top of the line track focused version.
Or the NXR -- which is the more road biased version.

If you want a more touring oriented helmet you instead have the option of the GT-Air as the sporty option or the Neotech as the less sporty option.

At least that's how I've always viewed it. The NXR2 even has a flat visor with vortex generators similar to that of the X-Spirit. For me it's actually a good thing that the NXR doesn't have an integrated sun visor because, in theory at least, it should mean a safer helmet. And it also gives you a compelling option if the X-Spirit is a bit outside your budget.

What problem with sun visor I buy this because no sun visor. Sun visor take out intergrity of helement without sun visor helemet is more safe and strong.

Don't know why I bothered watching this as I already have an nxr2 faust...meets 2206 standards, loved the graphics and a comparable arai didn't look as good
