the thing i love about these video is its not only your opinion but a community of riders and reviews, a lot of other videos are based solely on personal opinion

These videos just prove that you can give very important feedback to consumers without resorting to sketchy noise isolation testing. Love the fact you keep highlighting the importance of fitment to one's head. Great stuff as always

After 33 years of riding and trying just about every brand on the market, sometimes with painful results, there's Arai and then there's everyone else, they were crazy money when i was 17 but i wished I'd bought one as soon as i could afford one instead of trying other brands.

I'm Surprised you didn't mention the transition visor for the NXR2.

I find the Shoei NXR 2 tight to get on and off, apart from that its very comfortable when on.
Ended up purchasing the Arai Quantic as well, much easier to put on and take off.

Great video!!!
Which one would you choose?

I chose nxr2 because of the convenience of the photochromic visor which is very useful in a sunny country with a helmet without sun visor

What jacket are you wearing in this video? Is it an Oxford?

I have the RPHA 12 purchased from yourselves via a voucher i won. Great helmet so far but probably doesnt match the quality of the Japanese Brands.

I have the quantic, and I am really, really disappointed with it. Loud and the peripheral vision is not good. I bought an agv k1s recently and it for me personally trumps the quantic.

The NXR2 is useless as a sports helmet on a proper sportsbike. When you are in a crouch position on the bike, the unusual shaped protrusion at the rear fouls hard on a race hump or the collar of a jacket or suit. This rotates the helmet forwards causing discomfort & vision issues. It is fine with a less radical riding position.
