Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 2 Booster Course Pass had the best shortcuts confirmed. I'm surprised this isn't used in time trial world records, maybe eventually!

Doing shrooms in the woods is probably the best bet, but take a friend and plenty of water and turn your phones off unless you're listening to music. Nothing worse than a parent calling while you're tripping or calling the police because "time is weird" lol

even with a mushroom, the best I can get is to be picked up by Lakitu and dropped a nice distance down the track. But I'm certainly not landing and continuing to drive, like this is showing. Did they patch the game or is there something I need to know?

This isn’t new or secret though? I remember ghosts doing this soon after the track came out.
Also the reason why it might not be seen as broken as big blue is because big blue looks cooler and that appeals to people who like shortcuts lol

Funny thing the shortcut on big blue only saves ~0.200 sec compared to the casual route not the World Record
