How to do the GAP JUMP Shortcut on MUSHROOM GORGE 150cc | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

(currently working on mario kart stadium)

NOTE: the super bounce looks hard, but it's actually 100% consistent with practice. i would say the super bounce is a must, if you want to be good at the gap jump.

If you don’t know what a super bounce is, it’s basically a mini turbo trick off a bounce pad like a mushroom. You can also practice on DK Jungle or Sky Garden. Even tho Mushroom Gorge probably has the easiest ones in the game

if you struggle like me to do the shroom trick, I 100% recommed to just start drifting in the last mushroom so you'll have time to align and charge the mini-turbo, I did that and I got the gap jump on the 3 laps

mushroom gorge is the most iconic track forr me. the first mario kart game i had was mario kart wii, and my favorite track was mushroom gorge, so now when i think of mario kart wii i think of mushroom gorge and all the memories of it.

When it comes to aiming, I use the coin as an aiming guide instead of the little rock as it's in the same area but easier for me to see. Struggled to learn this because I couldn't see the rock in motion, but aiming to go right past the coin helped me learn this. =P
