We see a lot of great guitars come through our doors, but when a Masterbuilt Fender hits, everything comes to a stop so we can all geek out on it. Seriously, if you ever have a chance to hold a Masterbuilt in your hands, please do, just for the experience! They are today's Stradivari.

This gorgeous Todd Krause build, based on a 1957 Stratocaster, features hand-wound pickups by the incomparable Josephina, and is period-correct in most ways - Centra Lab 3-way selector, Medium Vintage/47095 fret wire, 250K 10% Taper Split pots, Clapton's favorite "V" neck carve (Todd has built many guitars for Clapton). But the roasted ash body, the eye-popping birdseye maple neck, and a player-friendly 9.5" - 12" compund radius fretboard - those are Todd's special touches that won't be found elsewhere.
