As always preparing for your end skills test AM2, AM2S or AM2E requires time testing at college and in industry plus on-site experience of installing electrical circuits in order to pass your exam. This short video will help you remember to ask permission from your assessor before carrying out the safe isolation procedure. You maybe expected to isolate more that one circuit during your assessment but always ask for permission before staring the safe isolation procedure. If you don’t ask your examiner for permission before safe isolation you will FAIL your AM2 or AM2S.

Done mine a few years ago, I’d recommend definitely going to the revision/prep day before your actual AM2 exam.

I’d love to do just the AM2 really as an MoT on myself.

Ask permission to turn of everytime they ask you eg ask when doing lights ask when they tell you to turn off board etc not just once

Anyone know if I need to do AM2 or AM2s? Qualified on level 3 years ago and never got round to finishing off.
