AM2 and AM2S Top Tips - Wiring The Lighting Circuit

As always preparing for your end skills test AM2, AM2S or AM2E requires time testing at college and in industry plus on-site experience of installing electrical circuits in order to pass your exam. This short video will help you remember to read the specification and think about selecting the correct size conductors for the lighting circuit wired in twin and CPC cable (twin and earth). The size and type of wiring needed will be stated in the specification for your end point assessment AM2 or AM2S.

I just failed mine on wrong selection of cable on lighting circuit. I’m sure the diagram said 1.5mm t&e. Is it possible the spec said 1mm ?

How is that light getting a Neutral?
L+N into the first switch, then 3 switch conductors between the next switches, and a feed from the last switch back up to the light..
