So…my grandmother never got baptized because her twins died right after birth. Long story short - she then got into Catholicism and anyway never got baptized. On her death bed my aunt was pushing her to get baptized but she declined it. When asked she said she wanted to go to limbo so her twins wouldn’t be alone.

I did DMT once and i was gone for 35 min according to my buddy but it felt like forever. I went to this weird place at the edge of space and saw what i though was people souls that just died. Weird glowing spirits were popping up and when i got close to them i could see what they looked like as humans. It was a peaceful place and then after they were done accepting their fate they would wait for a loved one or move on into this black void. That was around 4 years ago and i still think about it and i can still feel that "everything is ok" feeling, it's like emotions didn't exist there.

Just adding additional context to the Jehovah's witnesses afterlife:

In JW beliefs people who didn't know about Jehovah (God) or never actually understood the scriptures will still get a second chance to come to know Jehovah in the paradise earth and will consciously choose wether they want to serve God or not (if they choose to serve Jehovah they get to have eternal life in full perfection).

The only ones confirmed to simply never wake up again from death are people who commited many grave sins, never repented and knew perfectly well that they were sinning

I don't understand why the Wiccan afterlife is low on the list. No eternal Hell, just reflection on our mistakes in this life in order to do better in the next life. Seems like the nicest afterlife scenario, and the one most similar to how Near Death Experiencers describe it.

It's so interesting how the most ancient ones like Maya, Egyptians, Aztecs, Greeks believed there is whole challenges and trials to win over to prove they're "worthy" of the after life, instead of it being only a question of morality and the life they actually had. Is it somehow linked to the fact people back then died often young or in battle? Almost a reflection of their societies, they had shorter lives and they were constantly trying to survive

My theory is that you live a life to see what you want, and what makes you happy. Then when you die, you live forever in your own paradise based on what makes you happy.
