I have not had a cell phone for 14 years so I would not care about not having cell service. I've lived through lots of emergencies without a phone. Doesn't bother me. I don't even care if online service goes down. I have lots of books to keep me entertained. I also moved out to 800 acres in the forest that I can call my own and set up my own world with ham radio and everything I need because I knew a long time ago this sort of crap was going to happen. "Be prepared" is a good motto.
