About a year ago, the director of my high school asked me to play a song for the students that were going to graduate (who were a year older than me). I really didn't know what to play. The only music that really moved me at the time was videogame music, especially the songs of this game, which I consider to be one of my favorite videogames ever since it really managed to touch my heart and helped me deal with my inner demons. I thought "fuck it, let's play a Celeste song". I managed to convince two friends (a cello and a violin) to play the melody, while I played the piano part of this very song.

We played it perfectly, even if we were very nervous to play a song in front of 150 students. It was a very special moment for me. And although we won't have a graduation ceremony due to the virus, I already have enough, remembering that tender moment, and I have to thank you, Lena Raine, for that. I hope you keep composing songs, you're such a beast!

Just a friendly reminder that Granny owns a gamer chair, if Theo is to be believed

This fucking game, man. This game and this OST.

It healed my shattered heart enough to want to keep looking forward, to try and self-reflect and reconcile with myself and my regrets as Madeline did, and to discover who I think I really am, to know how I want to go forward instead of continuing to stumble in the dark.

I haven't felt this in love with a video game since forever. And I think it came out at the right time, when so many other people are also feeling the same weight of the world on their shoulders.

Thank you for putting such passion into this beautiful piece of art.

Just finished the game (well, with so many deaths and not that much strawberries...) and when your music start at the end with the credits...simply beautiful. Many thanks for all this beautiful Celeste soundtrack.

the artist for this game is really good at drawing stupid expressions
i'm saying this here because badeline's and oshiro's faces in the best ending and everyone's expressions in the worst ending are so powerful

I honestly have absolutely nothing bad to say about this game.
The level design is fun, intuitive, innovative.
The story and the undertones within hit home to a lot of people without feeling like pandering.
But most of all the music is woven togueter to match the game perfectly at everypoint that any part that isn't intense feels like it was meant as preparation for what is to come.
Like calm before a storm or like waves at a beach.
The way this game just Fits all of its peaces togueter while not sacrificing the quality of any of them is truly an example of a masterpiece.

I love this little climb down the mountain and those little pictures of Madeline and Badeline. It’s the kind of end credits that fill you with a sense of accomplishment. And I love how Badeline just casually floats behind Madeline.
But... it’s a slightly melancholy victory. You’re going to have to say goodbye to Badeline, to your friends, to Madeline.
Unless...
_You go deeper._

This is the best single player experience I have had since Skyrim.

Literally the entire World:
CELESTE IS THE BEST GAME EVER!

Me:
Huh, maybe I will check it out.

*literally a year later*

Me:
*sees Celeste on eShop*
Hey, look, I remember this game!
Maybe I should actually play it now!

*a few weeks of fun, pain, laughter, suffering etc. later*

Me:
The world was god damn right.

I blew through the game an entire second time just to deliberately serve my friends an empty pie crust

I made it my goal to 100% this game, I wanted to get everything out of it as much as possible. Today I finally did it, 30/30 Achievements (On steam) and 175/175 strawberries. Now that I'm finally done with all that I don't know how much I'll pick up this game in the future, but I'm glad I got to experience it. The music will definitely be something I'll miss about it though, truly a phenomenal soundtrack.

What a pretty tune. They always say to enjoy the climb when climbing a mountain, because when you reach the top, you'll enjoy it for a few minutes before it's time to descend. Celeste not only helps you enjoy the climb, but overcome a massive challenge and teach you that you can do anything, and nothing can stand in your way. This game's message is simply inspiring.

One of the simplest yet most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I already loved Celeste, but hearing this song for the first time was when I realized it was my favorite game.

Despite the constant rage this game puts you through, it's nice to listen to this.
Even after all the failures you experienced, you're still only human. It's okay to get back up and try again, it's also okay to *Save and Quit* every once and a while. I like this game for teaching the player that there's nothing wrong with admitting defeat and taking a break. Hats off to the developers of this game, and more importantly, hats off to the hard-working musicians who made such astounding music to accompany us throughout this experience. I feel like I learned a lot about myself and my own anxiety and depression throughout this whole thing. Thank you.

When I beat the game, I had 92 strawberries first time playing. At least 8-10 hours of game time. And 2k deaths. After trying to get everything, (which I’m still working on btw) I had 4200 deaths. I’m not even upset about that.

Cause as the game says: *Be proud of your death count! The more you die, the more you are learning. Keep on going!*

I will never forget those words, as I have never raged once at that game.

This game was truly an adventure of its own, I can see why ign rated it 10/10.

I recommend that anyone who reads this comment who hasn’t played the game yet to play it.

But be careful, for the *Mountain* doesn’t pull any punches.

I forgot one thing(meaning this comment will be edited, gosh darn it.) In case if you were wondering. The first B-Side I completed was the Celestial Resort. Took me 1:45:40. I died 900 times. xD

That expression Madeline does when you got the first ending (0-29 strawbs).

Come on, please don't look so disappointed, I... *tried*
