This scene really uses the “it was all a dream” cliche pretty well. It’s weird walking calmly through the ruins which has just previously been filled with dream blocks and traversed in a hectic chase from Badeline.

This song actually hit home for me a little bit. At the end of Madeline's dream, she speaks with a friend she hasn't spoken with in months, and then realizes it's a dream. I've had that happen to me before, in similar dreams. That combined with this music brought up a lot of memories. Beautiful piece.

As someone who struggles with anxiety and panic attacks, this song perfectly captures the "burnout" that always follows. Feeling defenseless, embarrassed, disappointed, ashamed, and wishing to disappear. It resonated with me immediately but I didn't get why until Madeline's mom came out and said it, telling her to breathe. Found myself crying out of nowhere.

Didn't really expect that when I started this game.

This and "Resurrections" and basically the whole soundtrack strikes me emotionally It just goes so well with the game and its themes it sometimes even brought a little tear to my eye. I can only repeat myself. This soundtrack plays the most important role, in making this game so great and deserves nothing less then OST of the year!

It's hard to say which song from Celeste is my favourite, but this one felt like the piano was actually climbing. 10/10

This was played and recorded live. You can hear the damper pedal on the piano if you listen closely. For some reason, that seems to add a level of authenticity and honesty to this piece, and makes the piano feel more vulnerable, even though different takes may have been blended together to make the final version. :)

One of my favorite parts of my playthrough of this game. It reminds me of "Midna's Lament" from Zelda:Twighlight Princess in that it strips the theme down to it's base elements as a piano theme, at an emotionally important part of the story. Both struck a chord with me emotionally, which is all I can ask for in a video game soundtrack. Thanks.

This is so great, my favorite game in a while and mainly because of the ost, this is just so good

I bought this game and played it until I beat it. The main story that is. The soundtrack is just so good and I love how in every chapter it introduces a new mechanic or obstacle. The controls are also very good only consisting of 3 buttons, yet you use them in such diverse ways and I never felt that when I died that it was the game's fault. I knew that all I could do was practice and get better. I'm giving this game a 10/10.

Such a beautiful piano piece, both somber and sobering. "Awake" perfectly reflects the feeling of waking up from a thought-provoking nightmare and reflecting upon it. This is such an excellent portrayal of the mood at the end of Chapter 2 that I explicitly stuck around at the end just to listen to it. Most often, it takes one great song to realize how much I love a soundtrack. Besides the fact that there are multiple of this kind of song in the game, it's so great to have realized this so early on.

This is in my top 10 moments from this game.
Hearing a hesitant version of the awesome "Resurrections" while you go through a dream block-less version of the old site with most of it being gated off, perfectly captures the feelings of suddenly waking up from a horrific dream without noticing it was a dream until several moments later. I've experienced this myself several times, which is why this moment is so awesome to me.

I've come back to this song every once in a while whenever I'm feeling melancholic. and the more I come back, the more it makes me think of the theme of 28 days later

It's not very often that a game's music strikes a chord with me to the point that I feel genuine emotion just from listening to one of it's songs, but I get choked up every time I hear this song and it's beautiful.
