I used to think every investor lose out during recession, meanwhile some make millions. I also thought everybody went out of business during the Great Depression, but some went into business. Bottom line, there's always depression for some, and profit for others, it all starts from having the right mindset. That said, I've set asides $250k to invest for future, unfortunately I'm a complete noob.

Is this an opportune moment to invest in stocks? What's the expected recovery timeline? I understand that many people believe equities are currently undervalued. However, there are strategies in play in this market that aren't easily accessible to the average person. Should I consider alternative investment options that may be more suitable for me?

This is very disturbing, I was thinking about going into Real Estates on a commercial level now the industry is in a mess and leaving all my money in the Bank now scares me. The solution to this double headed problem is far from me at the moment.

I think we are too obsessed about the economy crashing. In the right sense, the economy never crashes. It just undergoes cycles, and almost always recovers. So I really don't care what the predictions are. I just want to grow my portfolio. I read that people are pulling in massive profits despite the downturn. Any tips on how they do it?

We are already in the big crash, Inflation is a catastrophe. This CPI report is a colossal failure. To bring the housing market to a halt, the FED will have to pull all the stops. The unfortunate issue is that other markets are being decimated. If you want to stay green, you have to rely on a lot of diversification. Currently up 14% and being careful. Still a better deal than leaving it in a savings or checking account yielding 0-1 percent interest.

There are lots of mixed opinions about stocks and there projection in the next coming years, I aim for short term solid gains from market correction and I'd definitely jump on the boat if I knew a thing or two about day-trading, but then again what do I really know? I'm just looking for the right moves to grow and hedge my stagnant reserve of $370k from inflation.

Very nice breakdown of the situation! Usually during this time of the year, we get to see certain stocks go up in the market, but that’s very unlikely this season cos of the recession and overall economic crisis, issue is I've been holding a lot of stocks hoping to sell for profit this month but I'm not sure if to keep holding or sell, I’ve been running at a loss since Q2 and 2023 is really not looking favorable for investors.

You cannot cut your way out of recession you've got to invest your way out of recession, the Conservative party are in the dark ages on policy they've got to think again. My primary concern is how to maximize my savings/retirement fund of about £170k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains.

The media is currently barraged with a lot of economic data right now. It takes a lot to see beyond the whole ocean of news on focus on what is important, which is that no matter how low stocks go, they always bounce back. I really ignore all the news and keep investing. I recently allocated about $121k to put in the market as we anticipate a crash. Any recommendations?

I was completely distrated by all the music, effects and camera movements. It's really unnessesary. Your content speaks for itself.

It is gone, we lived through the zenith of our time.
These bourgeoisie individuals in tandem with the corrupt govt. will take down this country like what happened to Rome. My condolences to anyone approaching retirement, you may have concerns over whether your pension pot will stretch to cover the rising cost of living, bad regulatory policies, bad energy policies and insane fiscal policies

What i really want to know is why the whole world is so late to this collapse? I knew all of this would come when the government printed more than 40% of the total money supply in one day. The pandemic was for the rich to get so rich that it would last at least another 50 years. It also gave regular ppl a chance to get rich. The only problem is when you get rich from dumb luck; you'll most likely lose it the same way. Unless, you take steps to learn how to mange your assets. The point of having money is to preserve it...meaning to take steps to insure that you're not taking too much risk and to have money for opportunities. The reason I say you have to learn is because what's the point of you giving money to a money manager and then him or her turning around and then giving your money to black rock or vanguard ? That's what they do, that's what they did in 2008 that's the story of Bernie Madoff. He was the black rock or vanguard of that time...ppl didn't even know that their money was tied to his firm. World banks gave their money to him. Even the royal families had money in those banks. Most of these analysts that you see on TV are shit, they suck so bad at their job, you guys have no idea. There are some smart ones, but how would someone that is just starting out in the space even know which one to pick? That's why the term start small exists, use it for lessons. Most of these analysts are brand new after 2008...they haven't seen or heard anything other than up. This is their first time experiencing something of this nature. They are rookies.

So how can we capitalize on this collapse? The 2008 collapse was great for me.. I opened a couple of Cash for Gold Stores. I payed more than the other spots and even though I made less per transaction (per advice of my mentor at that time) I had developed a great reputation for being the honest gold buyers and business was amazing.

Great info. So what are some of your solutions to fix the problem?

Printing money, bailouts and private money came in to solve issues in 2008-2009. Would love to hear your solutions for this potential crisis next year. Thanks Codie!

Need a part 2 on what to actually do with tangible strategies. Our money can freeze? What do we do to secure our cash in the banks? Do we sell all stocks and 401ks? Thanks for this!
