Many of my family have died of cancer, so I find it despicable and utterly awful for what she did. She deserves more than 10 years for what she did

My mom struggled with cancer growing up and it really effected the way I had to grow up with my older sister raising us, my mom losing her job, and just not having a mother at times. And it’s no matter to use to make money, no matter the crisis or how hard your struggling. It’s a actual deadly sickness that’s fatal. And taking advantage of people thinking they are donating to a actual cause and using it for your own matters. It’s honestly very disgusting and disrespectful to family’s/ people who were impacted by cancer itself.

My brother had cancer over this past summer. It was one of the worst times of our life. None of us ever thought about starting a gofundme because of how crazy life was, and even if we did think of it, I would feel so dirty taking money from people when others could have a better use for it. These people are disgusting.

EDIT: I JUST REALIZED I NEVER CLARIFIED, MY BROTHER IS ALIVE! He beat cancer, but it was still such an awful and hard time. Now he’s married though, and so happy!

When I had heard about this story, I was 8 months into my brain tumor/cancer journey. Her criminal acts sickened my family and I so much. For her to fake a cancer diagnosis and garner sympothy just to steal thousands of dollars from people who wanted to aid in her situation was just sickining. As a result of my cancer treatments, I plan to create a documentary on not only my own personal cancer journey, but as a way to bring awareness and to provide answers to people that are faced with a similar situation. I wanted to give answers and confidence to those unfortunate enough who were dealt this shitty hand in life.

As someone who has cancer right now I think this is awful I hate life at the moment and to see people are faking it it breaks my heart and I wish people like them don’t deserve to be on this earth
