You sewing at the kitchen table made me tear up a bit. THAT is what a family table is made for: LIFE. All of it, in the middle of the room, the reason you want this beautiful kitchen, to live Life to it's fullest. Full of memories and laughter and time spent together. Amazing job MaCenna everything came together so beautifully! ❤👏💪

I think the “off center” center Ed in the room dining table was a blessing in disguise, it looks so much more naturally balanced with the styling! It actually looks even more elevated than if everything was 100% symmetrical because that would feel more modern. It doesn’t FEEL off centre, it feels deliberate and designed and high end and balanced. Well done!

Macenna, please design a coffee table book with photos of your spaces and designs, and photos of inspiration you’ve found, and maybe even things like your floor plans you’ve drawn and small bits to read about your journey of design and making a home. I’d literally cry for that coffee table book.

I bet your General contractor and all the guys that worked in that space are as impressed with you as we all are. Your ability to 'see' what you want coupled with your willingness to roll up your sleeves and do it are quite impressive. You have truly created a magical space. (oh and I MISS your Momma!!!)

I vote to keep the light over the sink, early morning or late evening when you go to the sink, it’s going to be much more “romantic” lighting over the main light that will light the whole room. So excited to see this update, and your excitement over the progress.

Damn Macenna, this is the culmination of your design journey throughout the years. From your bedroom at the apartment, the wood accents from the cottage and now this. What a masterpiece

The brown material you used for the curtains would make such good cushion covers for your dining chairs. You could switch them out for the time when baby will be learning to eat and that fabric would be more forgiving than the white. The space turned out beautiful, good job!

I'm picturing Romeo at the stove cookin up a storm, MaCenna at the table working on her laptop, baby at his high chair burbling away 🥹 The kitchen is so warm and inviting, I can't wait to see content filmed with it in the background!
PS: I'm really hoping to see a vlog called "organising the new kitchen" popping up soon 👀👀

My daughter said "This kitchen should be in a magazine!" She's 10. I agree, your kitchen is STUNNING!!! Great job Macenna.

Anyone who is a parent here knows babies are unpredictable. So I have all the patience in the world to wait for McCenna to post. Also, I find it extremely respectful of her that she let us know yesterday that she was going to be late and what she was going through. You're doing just fine. McCenna.❤️🌺😀

All day I was thinking “oh my gosh, I know MaCenna is SO stressed out right now trying to get this video up!” 😂 So excited to watch, it’s been a journey and I never thought I’d be so emotionally invested in someone else’s kitchen 🙌

Your contractor. Wow. After all those crazy stories you shared on the podcast, this seems like heaven 😅 He is so good and through out the whole process has been so efficient and respectful of your ideas, and knowing it’s your work too

I’m actually obsessed with the off-center chandelier!!! You put so much thought into all of your designs and sometimes you just have to pivot with what the space allows! It has so much character and charm AND it’s functional. I hope you know what an absolute inspiration you are. Well done love. Can’t wait to see your family fill the space with happy memories. 🥰

The table "off" closer to the doors makes so much more sense for the flow of your kitchen-use. You can swag the chandelier!!! Everything truly came together so beautifully. 😭

I love everything except the dishwasher lol I would have definitely gotten an inter-grated one with the matching cupboard door!!

Whenever baby Cade is old enough to start solids I recommend a splash mat for under his high chair! A washable rug is great, but reducing how often you have to wash it is great too 😂

I so hated to see this episode end! The chandelier, the corbels, the paintings, the table, the hardware, the toile cafe curtains…and even the Dunde Marmalade jars ❤ all fill me with joy. SO beautiful. I love what you’ve done this space… Enjoy every square inch of this space…the heart of your home.

I've watched your videos for so long but I don't think I've ever commented - I am sitting here crying during the reveal! To think that at the start of this, you were a family of two, to the end and being a family of three is crazy! ❤️ The kitchen is so beautiful and so "you", and it has been an absolute pleasure to watch you pour yourself into this project and make a dream a reality. I recently redesigned my own kitchen on a much smaller scale, and even that felt surreal as I watched my contractor turn my ideas on paper into a tangible thing...so I can't begin to imagine how you're feeling now. You should be SO proud. ❤️

The chandelier is STUNNING!! I LOVE the way you did the corbels, adding the blue paint to match the hood, while still leaving the old, chippy finish. You have created a dreamy kitchen that will be filled with many happy memories with your family.

I have huge respect for you anyway but watching you drill holes into your pristine new cabinets took that up several levels, also the chandelier is outstandingly gorgeous you have outdone yourself this is so beautiful xx
