Great Unbiased review. This iPad m4 is basically not too different from the cheaper iPad air or the regular iPad. The price is not justified and does everything as cheaper iPads. The surface is a full windows computer and is more versatile. A better option is to buy the regular Surface pro 11 and also buy the regular $329 iPad. That way you get the best of both worlds.

I don't use a Mac or iPhone for my personal use, but my iPad is my main productivity device when not working (studying and coding). It's just what you get used to and what your needs are.

Hi Chris, Thanks for your honest opinion on these 2 wonderful devices. I just have one doubt, Will the OLED screen have any benefit over the LCD screen when I am using only it only for productivity tasks taking notes in one-note and not for media consumption? Apart from media consumption, does the OLED screen have any extra benefits in terms of note taking ability or the the touch screen responsiveness. Would love to hear from you. Thanks

I use the iPad as my main productivity device. You cited an example of attaching files from an email to an email you want to send to someone else. Very simple. Open mail and go to the email with the attachment. In Split View, drag another session of mail onto the other side of the screen. There create a new email. Drag the new email to the side to create a floating window. Drag the file from the first instant of Mail to the body of the new message. If you need to add files from other emails or from the files app either go to the other email or drag a files window to the side where the original Mail pane was. Find the file, drag it to your new message. I don't think it's a problem with iPadOS, I think it's your unfamiliarity with iPadOS that makes it feel limiting.

Hi Chris thanks for the video, it's refreshing to get a very unbiased proper review, like you said so many people are only in one camp Windows or Mac, so they just ignore the other products, for me as well for work the surface is annoying brainer winner, I watched you surface laptop review and it along with some others made me feel confident about buying one, so I did and I love it. It's like my old XPS as it's super high quality i have the 15" so it's not exactly as portable as your surface pro but that's not important for me. I've subscribed and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your nonsense content 👍 thanks again Jon in the UK

Hi, , Great review wish you Best for your rest of your video's, , but since both has OLED, , in your opinion which one is sharper and more Vibrant & much more saturation for your eyes for enjoyment, I love more saturation screen, so which do you advice me to buy ?? I'm in the market for both

I thought about getting a Windows tablet until Microsoft went full crazy with their Recall feature. I mainly wanted one for portability, some gaming, WSL, and coding. Instead of buying a Surface Pro, I found ways to make things work on my iPad (from 2018). I can't run some Games on my iPad like Astroneer, but I end up gaming more on the iPad anyway. I can still do some coding (more than what I need to do), I have access to Git, I can ssh into a Linux VM for $6 a month, and my IPad is very portable. It still runs incredibly well after 6 years and I never get BSODs lol. My dream device, where I can run games like Astroneer, have a full Linux VM alongside the main OS, and have all my iPadOS apps and games, will likely never exist, but the iPad is probably the closest I'll come. It's good that we have choices since one thing isn't going to work best for everyone.
