This is what I've been waiting for! The Vocal separation sounds better than Serato. They have really raised the bar with this one. I'm going to really be testing this out this weekend.

Thank you for your comprehensive review, Phil! Very resourceful, as always. Djay is my go-to software, and this update very much accelerates it!

Just outstanding. I switched from Traktor 3 months ago and I am so pleased I did. I have the Mixon 8 and with djay pro it’s just a killer combo.

Algoriddim, stepping up to be the most advanced DJ software . Can’t wait to get a Mixon 8 pro. I’ve been using this since 2012. This new update, is great.

And those X-fade transition fx are absolutely genius!

Sick. You’re absolutely right about the hardware partnerships. I would have loved to use a DJ 707m with this.

First track on the stems created a chillout/ambient track, flipping brillliant.

Just tried it out. The beat grids are amazing. It maps out old rock and disco tunes like it’s nothing.

The stems are pretty good too now. Easily on par with Serato, and the vocal separation is better.

Their team did a fantastic job on this update.

I don’t play that often but had some gigs recently so upgraded to the latest version of djay pro. This new release is amazing! I am still happy I’ve stuck with djay pro from the beginning!

Great video Phil, I just updated my devices today, MacOS, iPad and iPhone, thanks for the breakdown, I think for what I do I might be able to ditch Serato with this

I used Djay Pro for ages for Weddings as it’s miles ahead of all the other dj software. Finding tracks is easy, no major bugs, sorting is good and it can mix itself properly if you need to duck away for a minute

I’m seriously impressed with the update to the quality of the stems
I just updated and tried it… im really excited about this update, so here is my opinion/rant

For now, this is the only software I’ve been using heavily because it’s the most accessible to me.

Originally the djay software was the cheapest and most professional software I had available to me without a laptop.

I got right to my stem mixing, and immediately heard a difference in the quality. There are less artifacts, a lot less and it makes mixing with stems on algorithms amazing!

The beat grids I’m loving so far, no complaints there… i wish I had more to say but I rely on the waveforms as a visual aid

I like the new colors on the waveform too, they may be pretty generic but they’re a step up in quality forsure. I don’t know why that is important to me, but it is.

Thanks Phil! Great review as always! I have used djay pro for years, and I concur, it has been tough seeing the STEMS on alot of other software, and I forced myself back on Serato since the STEMs and echo out effects are great, but my heart is always with Djay Pro and it didn't seem to get a lot of love due to RB, Virtual DJ and Serato. Lastly, it just doesn't work with a lot of controllers as you mentioned, unless you MIDI map them, which can be challenging at times, you just want things to be plug and play. Virtual DJ is amazing at that since it works with everything, I just wish DJay Pro would take that cue and be open since there are some controllers I would love to get and ones on the shelf that I would use if they are Djay Pro compatible. My 2 cents!
