Is Algoriddim DJay Pro Better Than Serato DJ Pro?

I prefer Djay Pro, but I love that there are so many legitimately viable options with different pros/cons for DJs. No single company has a full monopoly over the industry now. 👍🏾

They all got their pros and cons. I think a DJ should use a program they feel better with and can easily master the program. I use VDJ and I think it’s better than Serato. But that’s my opinion. Another person may prefer Serato over than VDJ. However I used djayPRO and I really do like it based on how I DJ

If BPM counting is why you don't like a program, then it's time to go back to the basics. if you can't mix with your ears, you need to keep practicing!!!

VirtualDJ pro better than both - from my experience. Reliability, integration, performance and features in general. I respect the fluid bpms in djay pro and that's the main area it wins for me, but the overall algorithm of djay is about 70%-75% trustworthy in getting the bpms right. For me this is huge and I'm aware not every dj software will get it right but that's just too high for me.

The Neural Mix Feature (Dj Pro's Version of Stems) is way better at isolating Voices, Bass, Harmony and Drums in my experience. Serato STEMS always ends up sounding way more scraped and non smooth and that's my main issue with using it and why I end up using Dj Pro since I love doing blends more than anything. I respect Serato and even Rekordbox alike, but I think they both could use more polish where it comes to STEMS.

been using dj pro from the beginning and love it never used serato. have used and i do use rekordbox but i def love djay pro but nothing is stand alone with it and i hate using a laptop but i do love using my ipad with it

My whole music library is on Apple Music so the Djay Pro was really convenient, especially seeing how I can practice on my phone. I’m just starting to practice regularly, and the UI for Serato is lowkey a little intimidating. Maybe I just need a good tutorial or something but DJay Pro definitely less professional but a little more fun to if that makes sense 🤷🏿‍♂️

Serato colours the sound to make it sound warmer. With Serato, if your beats are not perfectly matched, it still sounds decent. With other software, you have to drop it right on the one and if it is just a hair off, everyone will hear it. IMO, Serato does not make us better DJs because coloured sound is not organic. If you ended up having to spin on other equipment, the Serato DJ won't know what to do and will probably get lost in the mix.

My problem with Serato is that I want to sample drum loops and you just can’t with Serato. Technically you can, but their sampler is useless because the beat grids are so bad and I’m not willing to go through literally every one of my songs to fix beat grids. Djay Pro does not have this problem so peace out Serato.

Trust me just cuz they say Serato is industry standard doesn’t mean it’s better. Djay has wayyyy better features but learn to use both 👍🏽

Djay pro has it's issues but that 1 u raised with the jog displays isn't 1 of them in a big way. It may just the way it connected when u opened it up the 1st time, but if it's a consistence thing, i would try a new cable, or a different port. But it seems more serato djs are moving towards Djay this time around for it's convenience some of the features u mentioned... and and that's inclusive of professional djays. I hv personally given up on serato a long time ago as it seems limiting to what i can do in other programs.

If your controller is not fully compatible it’s not going to work well. I had to switch my mixer and I will never go back to Serato.

DJay pro is not for Pros vorgeht the Pro Bro 😂😂😂😂 Algoriddim is for really Beginners who have no idea what a dj does the AI ​​does everything for you 😉😉😉😉i test it out when i mix two songs together its every time a filter on i have everything off ?? and i testet sync its not tight on the cue its lacking
