Can you clone yourself and teach at more universities? You’re what academia needs. Thank you for not gatekeeping complex subjects and encouraging not only your own students but students everywhere.

Jeff, this is an incredibly well taught lesson. Thanks for helping me iron out some hang ups I had! “Multiply by two to get in, divide by two to get out”. THAT is the mental picture I needed. Thanks! Nice verse at the end too buddy.

Took this man less than 30 minutes to explain something that my university failed to teach in a whole week. Thank you for supporting my passion in engineering!

Two years have passed since this video, I can confirm that Jeff Hanson's videos are still supporting students all over the world. This video is a blessing. And to top it off, you are providing all of this for free on YouTube. God bless you sir!

Thank you for uploading this, just learned it last week. This video explained it 10X better than my professor under 50 minutes🤦🏽‍♂️

The charisma here makes learning material so much more interesting. No matter how interested people are in a subject, it's so much harder to learn when the lectures are dry and boring. I always come back here when I'm confused becuase the energy really helps make the information way more approachable.

Dear Mr. Hanson, thank you so much for your commitment to these lectures! Many of them allowed me to understand what I couldn't from my university course. I wish all the teachers of scientific studies were using your methods and approach!

Awesome. You just took me back 30 years. I have a current project that seems very complex but can be easily solved using the circle, a scratch pad, some simple trig, and time. 👍

Dude!!! Thank you! I have Masters in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering and my wife is Civil. Needed to calculate shear forces across cellular membranes. My wife said easy and used Mohr's circle and did it in like seconds! I went the long way around and it took 7 minutes. Just found your lecture to help me nail this down. Thank you man!

It is just orgasmic how crystal clear you make it all when you add the coordinate transformation with x and y face very explicit .

This was added just in time for this semester. Doing this right now in class!

Thanks for doing this video Dr. Hanson! I’m beginning my studies for the FE Exam and I’ll admit that Mohr’s Circle used to seem like alchemy circles to me until I saw this video. Your explanations and clarity helped me significantly in understanding how this works!
