Video of a Giant Crocodile in Port Blair, India has gained popularity due to how massive this Saltwater Crocodile appears. In the video, I examine whether or not this crocodile could be 20 feet or longer, as well as how much it could weigh. I compare it other crocs such as Old Charlie, Lolong, and Potol.

Book Description:
Crocodilians are one of the most interesting, yet misunderstood predators on this planet. Much about what we know surrounding crocodilians is rooted in a history that is full of false information. Subjects such as enormous crocodilians, the history of alligators living in sewers, and their evolution are usually answered with faulty facts. In addition, there is still much we don’t understand about these animals, such as their taxonomy, biology, behavior, and more. Did you know crocodilians show signs of regeneration, what’s going on there?

To find the truth in all the lies, exaggerations, or unknowns, one must either spend decades studying these animals or pay a hefty price buying complex literature. What We Get Wrong About Crocodilians fixes these problems. The book looks over myths, misconceptions, and mysteries surrounding these animals for an affordable price and is written for a more general audience to understand. The topics discussed range from the 5th century B.C.E. to present day. Some of the topics will be recognizable, some are generally unknown to many, and some may be shocking. Whether you are causally interested in these animals, or have spent decades studying them, What We Get Wrong About Crocodilians will present information rarely discussed and enlighten all.

Huge Crocodiles, Monster Crocodiles, Large Crocodiles, Giant Crocodiles, Krys the Crocodile, Gustave the crocodile

That's terrifying. The biggest alligator I've seen is probably 12 feet at a Florida gator park. And it was huge. This animal could be at least 6 feet longer. Dinosaur.

According to a wildlife biologist acquaintance of mine, Lolong had mercury levels 30 times past the normal limit. This is due to the mining activities in the sorrounding areas which drain to the lake.

There's no way he's 18 he has to be bigger. The keels on him say it all. Look at the amount of space between them and their height. I've seen a few 18'ers and this one MUST be bigger. Stay tuned to the news, this big guy will surely make it eventually.

In India you usually see mugger crocs and gharial. They are smaller. But Port Blair is far from the mainland in the Bay of Bengal so it makes sense why one would see a salt water croc there. Honestly I never thought there were saltwater crocs in India before and this is amazing to me

If us humans leave them alone we might get a chance to see these creatures attain their true size, I'm 53 and I have Gray hair but I would like to see these creatures have a chance to live out their days admired but not disturbed

The bigger the crocodile, the closer their eyes seem to be to each other.

If you look at its eyes, they seem too close to each other compared to the eyes of smaller crocodiles.

As the crocodile grows, the distance between their eyes doesn't change much.

This crocodile is huge.

He is big and I know about Lulong and I remember that video of him a couple of years ago when they caught him in the Philippines. He was named after the well known professional crocodile hunter who suffered a heart attack and died while searching for him to catch him.The crocodile was to have allegedly reported to have killed a girl in a conue on her way back from school with her sister and then a fisherman and after they caught him it was a struggle to haul him two miles out of the jungle from where they caught him because they could only use a cart to do it, a put together one made of trees and when they did get him to his containment exhibit he was measured and his length was over 20ft. Now a few days later people reported seeing a bigger and longer crocodile that is still reportly in that area
