It died because of living in a shallow concrete pool, that was drained half the day for tourists to see it. It’s weight damage it’s organs and caused it’s death.

The local fisherman in the village, said lolong was the smaller one, they said thier is a bigger one still out there, crocodiles can live 80 years or more, in WW2 there were battles all over the Philippines, all the dead bodies, floating in the swamps and rivers, the crocodiles had an unlimited food supply, to grow to humongous size, so its possible for there to be bigger ones out there

Poor lolong. He should have been treated more humanly. Croc that size should not be kept in an all concrete enclosure. They really needed advice from experts on that one .

There were several deaths over a period of time that warranted the capture of the croc that killed them. Witnesses swear that Lolong wasn’t even that crocodile, as big as he was, and that the croc that actually did it was far bigger.
