Poor thing, In order to drink.. giraffes have to open their paws to go as low as possible to get their heads to the ground, and this takes some time, on this occasion he couldn't drink because he had danger next to him.

It's a bit funny to see how the birds land on it's neck in absolut chill, while the giraffe is struggling going down there. 😅

Giraffe literally saved her own life.
This mammalian giraffe is smarter than the reptilian crocodile can give her credit for.
This gentle giant is instinctively intelligent, observant, alert & cautious of the surrounding environment cos' she literally can pick up the sense of an ambushed croc instantly lurking & partially emerging on the water surface by the river edge.
Truly sharp senses of smell & vision.
