🔥UPDATE🔥: Thanks for watching this video! If the audio is too abrasive (sorry about that 😬), I made an updated version with (hopefully) better audio: Watch the new version here:

Writing a screenplay and using ChatGPT to turn it into a novel is also useful. To me, that method will give you more control over the scenes you want. However, you have to write the script longer and add more details for the AI to understand.

I sat down and gave your tips a red hot go, and I'm quite amazed by how much depth you can get from ChatGPT. There is certainly a skill in knowing what to put in the prompts and being willing to build on them but for someone like me who struggles to write fiction, and I know how to write, I'm pretty sure I wrote a better fiction story in 60 mins with your guide than I've written literally ever. Actually, it's probably better than half the ones they sell at the airport 😂

Chatgbt has its particular language style which those who are talking about it don't realize it. Keep giving a lot of various prompts and you’ll still get the same language style. You guys tell us something different and new about chatgbt.

Thanks for this video! Great suggestions and guidance here. Not blocking my blessings just because the volume comes and goes a bit. Great job!

The steps I am using to create I give my story concept and main characters names, have it give me an outline based on that. Then I start creating the supporting characters profile the main character profile and antagonist profile. Then I asked for it to create the locations that the story takes place in. Then I asked for to create the chapter breakdowns in the chapter count based on the characters and location and conflicts and main story points. Then I start writing the scenes for each chapter

Fascinating. Some great content, but unfortunately for me the audio was so bad (kept dropping in and out, volume going up and down) that I could only listen for a little while before it was driving me crazy. Again, though, you clearly have found a very innovative way to use ChatGPT.

Great video. Is it just me or is the audio all over the place? Loud and garbled to distant and faded. Feels like you're walking around the room recording on a fixed mic or the cable is loose/damaged.

Fantastic! The one challenge I have faced with writing a novel, is the chapter lengths. ChatGPT always wants to wrap things up. If I want to write a 75, 000 word novel, with 3-4K words per chapter, are you suggestion to write by scene? So I could write the outline, and ask to add scenes per chapter. The scenes would act as subheadings in a Non Fiction book. What are your thoughts on that? How have you done it, with larger content? I know James Patterson writes 120 chapters with 800 - 1000 words a piece. What are you thoughts! And best video I have seen on this so far.

Amazing detailed video, I just came across it now. Question: if I want to create Novels and have them with voice-over on 30-min videos for youtube, what prompt would you suggest for ChatGPT to build the whole novel that can be voiced over within 30 minutes ?

Thanks for the good suggestions.
Next - Please ask ChatGPT how to use a microphone and a compressor plugin to record proper voice-over.

Something that I have noticed is that chat GPT has a limit of 500 words, but most of my scenes tend to be 1000+. So, when I was asking Chat GPT to rewrite a scene (to improve clarity, set it in a new location etc) I ended up with a very sparse, whittled down version of my scene that often pieced bits together incorrectly. However, if I broke me scenes down, I realized I could divide them pretty neatly into 500 word sections that explored a particular idea, introduced a character etc. Then what I started doing is, instead of asking AI to write a whole scene or chapter, I asked it to write one of those 500 word sections and prompted it with dialogue beats, actions, themes and things that it had already picked up on in the training stage. I got far better results and I could tailor the length of my scenes much better- sometimes I only needed two 500 word sections, sometimes I'd need five, but this method gave me more control over what I got.

Great tips. I'm trying to write a novel but rather than ask ChatGPT for a concept, I semi-did my own research as well as employed themes I already wanted to write about. ChatGPT was amazing however for whenever I ran out of ideas on how to narrate a particular scene. Pretty soon I'm going to have to do it like you did in the video though.

By the way was it just my speakers or were you circling around your microphone while doing the narration? 😂

Hello, just got done watching and you had some great tips in there. The biggest issue I'm having is getting ChatGPT to write horror. I am writing detailed outlines for GPT. But I've come to a particular violent couple of scenes. It just kept warning that it can't write the violence. I finally got it to agree to write the scenes, but instead writing the violent parts to just add a content place holder. That almost worked. It can't seem to follow the story well enough when it has to pause the story to include it's own "[Content placeholder - violent actions]". I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to get around this. I've tried to just writing the scenes myself and asking it just edit it for grammar and it freaks out. Any thoughts?

There's a lot of information on how to get chatgpt to write for you but what about ways to get it to edit/proof read and enhance your story by adding more detail.

I want more of this. Just taking my own creative writing and making it better. Is that actually possible?

The sound issue is a bit distracting. Great advice though.
