River Wild Camp & Walk | Thames Path - Part 5: Kew - Teddington | YouTuber Meet-up

Happy New Year all and welcome back to the Thames Path. In this video, I pick up from where I left off in Part 4 - Kew Bridge, and walk across to Teddington Lock in Surrey. I am joined by subscriber and fellow Youtuber Graham from Grays Outdoors. Many thanks to Graham who scouted out our wild camping spot AND hid a bag of wood, water - and beer away in advance! Perfect!

If you are wondering where Parts 1 and 2 are of this adventure, then it's because I completed these sections just before Londoner Outdoors came into existence in 2018. I will though be uploading the photographs of these sections (in a video format) soon so that it all makes sense! SO far I have walked around 30 miles of the Thames Path.

Do check out and subscribe to Graham's channel which includes a great series of videos of him walking the entire South Downs Way - highly recommended.

GRAYS OUTDOORS:

GRAYS OUTDOORS video of this same adventure:

COMING SOON to Londoner Outdoors...
See me wild camping high up in cold and bleak conditions on Kinder Scout in the Peak District.

Thanks for watching,
-Ben

Proof you don’t always have to get too far away from the city. Nice one, gents! Cheers, Mari

Nice video. I saw the Thames walk video the last one you uploaded, and I smiled when I saw Greenwich because I live just a few miles from there! I've found a little spot on the Woolwich side of the Thames and I've camped there a few times now, but my favourite camps are in the local woods by me as wellbut have to be really stealthy there though! It's not easy wild camping in London, but not impossible. ATB, Tony.

Wow Ben - you're posh! An Ikea cutlery fire box - mine came from Home Bargains (other discount stores are available!). Great video and what a superb idea of Graham's making a little cache of goodies beforehand! ATB

Great adventure dude, good to see Grays out as well... You could use a few (3 or 4) old tent pegs, the shepherd hook type, as little stabilising feet for you Ikea fire thing, poke through the holes, jobs a good 'un lol. Cheers, Atb James
