Two realisations that came late in my 20's;
1. I can't impress everyone.
2. My future depend on my actions today.

Brutal truth: No one is obligated to help you through anything.

The harsh truth I have learned about life in my 20's is that money rules the world. If you have money, you will be respected by society and also your parents. But if you dont have money, you will be treated as dirt by society. If you are unemployed for a long time in your 20's and completely depend on your parents for everything then life is horrible. If you parents are Good, you will get basic food and shelter. Thats all. You will not have personal money to buy clothes, buy a single cup of coffee, will also not have friends as no one wants to associate himself with a broke person, not have money to even go watch a movie in a theatre. The list goes on and on and your own parents will taunt you for not having a job. Thanks for reading my comment, guys.

The brutal truth I learned about my 20’s was I focused so hard on creating and growing my businesses, While supporting a family working full-time job, I don’t even remember my 20s, The whole decade is a flash. But the importance of starting young is a well-known fact and the sacrifice I made for success was that decade, Which created the foundation and allowed me to retire at age 41

The most brutal truth I’ve learned is “You are on your own in this life”

The two realizations that made my life completely balanced are:

1. No one cares what you think.
2. You mustn't care what anyone else thinks.

You have to stand up for yourself because noone else will. Noone will respect you and love you if you don't respect and love yourself. Don't wait for The One to make you happy. Find the way to be happy anyway. Invest in learning and build up a life so you are not dependent on anyone, else you are easily manipulated. Keep calm. If you are calm and collected, you can make better decisions.

The biggest lesson I learned:
Other people's expectations of you is not your responsibility.
Just do you.

The more brutal Truth I learnt, it IS not just Knowing That Nothing last for ever, but also accepting it and mainly recognazing when the end Time Comes!

I learnt that in a court of law, there are no friends - just witnesses.

Regardless of how many dinners out you paid for, how many weekends away you picked up the tab for, your "friends" will sell you out in a court of law if it means they escape punishment. I also learnt that the only justice you can hope for is the justice you get for yourself.

After 10 years and many brown envelopes paid to "cleaners" I feel justice has been served. Sometimes when I sit on my pool deck overlooking the ocean, sipping a very expensive scotch, I think about my late friends and the fun times we used to have.

Do not choose between marriage and career. A good spouse will allow you to have both. If under pressure to choose between spouse and career, get rid of the spouse. Lesson learned.

most brutal lesson:

people are just as petty and childish as they are their entire lives. we're all creatures of habit and its often disappointing being idealistic about humans

17. Most people still teach their children racism and don't care because it benefits them. 💯

This really helped me, on a very low day... remind myself that a lot of people feel the same in their 20s!

With all this being said:
Hustle, Grind, Invest and Save hard in your 20’s because it’s going to pay off tremendously in your 30’s - 40’s. Life is short & precious. You only live once and your life is ultimately what you make it. The older you get the less people care about your failures.

Im 15 and i already knew most of these. Still the truth about how things really are, is kind of makes things sad
A lesson i have learned is
your can't punish other for your mistakes. It is just petty and ruins your own peace of mind.
your choices do not affect anyone but yourself. At a point there will be are no more excuses.
