It is absolutely scary that a lawyer for 20 years and a judge for 2 can not answer a simple question about the 1st amendment. This is why our country is the way it is now. Incompetent people in positions of authority.

The fact that this guy has spent his entire career practicing CIVIL LAW should make him ineligible for a federal judge appointment. He will be eaten alive by the lawyers and never be able to "interpret" the law on an impartial basis, which will have him lean on his beliefs or bias.
