Guys…… this works!!! It didn’t work the first time so I did it a second time also turning off the power on the extension cord. It worked the second time loaded the entire Home Screen!

Did not work for me. Had a 75 inch TCL 8 series. Lasted 16 months, then got black screen . Customer service told me no service or repair centers in USA. So, my $ 1, 800.00 has gone down the drains. Customer service said the cost to repair it will be more than the price of a new TV. They recommended buying a new TV. I took their good advice and I bought a new Samsung. No more TCL, No more Chinese TV for me.

You are a flipping genius!! Thank you. Only been using this TV for a month. Worked first time. I actually left it unplugged for 5 minutes and watched the clock to make sure I held the power button ( mine is under the front center edge of tv screen) down for a full minute. Plugged in the TV and pressed the ON button once and voila the picture is back. Whew!!!! Nice not to factory reset. All my settings etc. We're fine even remembered my wifi log in info. Thank you!!! TV did it again. Fixed again. Thank you 1/2024 update
