Onn. Roku TV: Black Screen, No Picture or Flickering Black Screen? Easy Fixes!

I show you how to fix an Onn. Roku TV (smart TV) that when watching a show or movie it has a black screen, no picture or flickering black screen but you can still hear the audio sound. I give you a couple easy fixes here. Hope this helps.

I have a new 65" ONN ROCU TV I got for Christmas 2022. My screen was green as I was trying to watch a movie on HULU. However, I could still hear the audio. I tried the 2nd option you gave, and now everything works perfectly again!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Omg...this worked for me. I was watching my 65" Roku TV and the picture was going black. I could only see bits and parts of the movie. I only had this television for 3yrs. I was absolutely sick thinking I was going to have to buy another television. I came here on Youtube hoping to find a fix and came across this video. Although my screen wasn't completely black like his expressed in his demonstration, I decided to give it a try anyway. Thank God in heaven, it freaking worked. My picture is back completely!!

Omg, it worked! I just bought my 40in Onn Roku TV at Walmart during the Black Friday sale and a few days later the screen went black. I couldn't figure out how to fix it and thought it was defective, so my plan was to return it for a refund. I'm so glad that I found your video first. Thanks!!

Bruh ur awesome. U saved me again lol. Next time I buy a TV I'm gonna get a Sony or LG. Cheap TVs might be nice but they really don't last long and they're always messing up.

I have older Roku and this fix worked great. Beware, the fix can take a long time between stages, seemed to get stuck at "not connected" for a long time, then it reset to black screen... Just be patient. THANKS FOR THIS FIX!

Thanks guy, I tried turning my 65" Ruku TV with sound only & a back screen off for 30 second's and it came back on. I found out for TV that I have over a year that the display screen may be going bad. That in it's self seems crazy for a product to have a problem like this so early. Thanks for the tip.

Had a tan screen when I would play something but could hear everything did first step didn't work did second and it worked!!! Life saver!! Though my 3 year old tv was ruined I about threw it out!!! Thanks again!
