How can you leave out Hilda Gray who was the first person to perfect a homestead in what would later become Desert Hot Springs. As told by Cabot Yerxa, she helped him locate his survey makers for his homestead. Cabot Yerxa is for sure to be celebrated but Hilda Gray cannot rightly be left out of the history of Desert Hot Springs.
