Why is the student pushing and moving back the same time?

This only works if the guy pushes in to a perfect ground path, hits the ground clean and is pushed back by the return. Otherwise the receiver has to apply force

Not saying this master doesn't have skills but chakura? I call this the lever effect person touches the top of arm he pivots the point to aim at his feet or kua with a rotation.... Which destroys the balance 😅. If he wants to talk chakura maybe stand 1 meter away and then see if this theory works. He does yang style and crane.... They talk about this in the form. I don't see how this is helpful for any students.
