I have installed many doors and this guy is the real deal. Explains things well and doesn’t assume everything is perfect.

Thanks Paul, another great video helping us to see what is in our "wheel house" and giving us courage to try.

Very helpful. The quick demonstration on trimming drywall with the multi-tool saved me a lot of time. Running the screws behind the weather stripping was a real pro touch.

This is by far the best vid I've seen on a pre-hung door install. Lots of great common sense (that isn't so common) methods here. Really dig the channel!

I have watched so many videos on exterior door installations. They have all been great videos, but your video is next level. You have a real gift at explaining every step. Things I was unclear on have been made crystal clear. You have saved me so much money. Thank you, I truly appreciate this video.

Great video Paul. Very helpful. Getting ready to make a 12x12 shed, your videos been great. You helped me out big time making my lap joint fence gate. Still going strong 4 years later.

Thanks, Paul! I'm in the process of replacing my door with concrete bottom. You gave a great explanation of it and all-around for the door replacement. Thanks.

Thanks Paul! We had a big box store door installed 20+ years ago and it was never done right. We live in Texas and the clay soil plays havoc on foundations. We had that fixed about 5 years ago and I’ve been nursing this door ever since. Time for a new prehung front door for me this Spring! I built a few kitchens, but very little framing carpentry. I feel like I can now tackle this job right.

Very good video. I’ve used wire nuts on caulk tubes also. They’re a great fit on most tubes. Appreciate all the videos and information you’re sharing.

Your videos are always well made and very clear. I definitely will try to replace a door by myself now. Thanks for the video.

I also liked the measuring tip... forever I have been trying to figure out how to measure accurately when butted against a side, and the tape bends over and becomes difficult to be now I know.... just measure to a common center scribe from each side...

I'm sitting at the firehouse watching your videos and figuring out what projects I'm going to tackle when I get home. Thanks for the motivation!

Nice video. I use electricians tape over the ends of caulk tubes. I put two pieces at 90 degrees to each other. I have had caulk keep for 2 years and still be good. A few years ago Mike Holmes hosted a show of handyman competition. He had guys hand double doors using used different sized doors in jams that were out of square and out of plumb. I think that would be a great video because some of us live in old homes that have settled and shifted through the years. I always enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!!!!

Hi Paul, I really learn a lot from you. As my home is being remodeled, I am able to watch things closely and have them re-do what I do not feel was done properly. Thanks for these tips and I, especially like the Poly Flash around the doors. I am going to request that to the builder. Happy Holiday!!!!
