Can I ask - what was that hardware you used to attach the jamb to the wall? I've never seen where you screw into a metal piece like that - or was that just a drywall anchor of some sort?

You might like the tool "Kugihiki". Japanese flush cut saw. No "set" on the teeth. They don't mark the wood when you cut dowels/plugs.

Is that much important to cut the wood and attack them with a glue?

Can i do it without cutting and attacking ?
