After soaking these plants you need to shake them out upside down and allow them to dry upside down to prevent rot.

Hi! I live in Boulder which is arid. 10 percent humidity is high! Anyway someone gave me a tillandsia brachycalous that seems to be glued in a little ceramic hedgehog. It won't pull out easily so I am wondering how in the world to water it. Do I just give up on the idea of soaking it since it is impossible to pull out of the planter and mist it several times a week? I feel badly for it as even today, a day after getting it, it looks thirsty. Sigh. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. Thank you.

Just got one of those curly air plants from Lowe’s today and they literally glued the poor plant into the little containers 😔 I’m not a plant expert (hence why I’m here) but I’m guessing that’s not good for the plant.
What type of water do you recommend? Tap? Spring? Distilled?

I order ed mine on amazon, they were dry and i thought after putting them in water they would go green like yours but nothing.. Are they not good
