We all have slightly weird, busy lives, and in recent years have opted to perform less often, partially because after 9 years together in the music biz, especially in an algorithm world, it is hard to make an impact. We have spent the better part of a decade touring the country, writing songs, making videos...it has been wonderful, but we could never quite make the impact we were hoping for. We always felt like, if we could just get people to listen, they would enjoy the music.
You introduced so many people to our music. Between your video and the cover art on our album by our dear friend Rebecca Green, people clicked on our songs! And they liked them! And somehow not only did people like the songs, but they're also the NICEST PEOPLE ON THE PLANET. The comments sections on our videos defy the laws of Youtube. There are no trolls, somehow. You have cultivated such an awesome community. AND you helped the algorithm pick us up. We are SO grateful for that.
All that to say, thank you, thank you, thank you. Truly. Keep making art. It is important. We have been reveling in the wonder of this video for 9 months. Thank you.

I really really enjoyed Hellpark, It was such a comfort for me and it was so interesting too, I’m not sure what happened exactly, all I know is that toxic fans ruined Hellpark and it upsets me greatly, I’m still thankful that none of this was deleted though so I can still re-read the blog whenever I want :)
