Just finished season one. An amazing ride so far. Diane Kruger should of won a Emmy for her portrayal of a police detective who suffers from Asperger disease. Simply brilliant!

Bron is on the top of the series. As french I see it in Danish or Swedish with frenchs subtitles, I don't know which languages I have learned a little beat, Danish or Swedish, but I was really great ! I was really impressed, full in the northern European mood. Smart, complex, humanistic, just one word : Tak, thank you, Merci...

I honestly don't understand why Americans have this urge to copy a brilliant series, just by remaking it and claiming it as theirs. Is it because Americans are too lazy to read subtitles, or are they soaked up in their own American world where everything not American is 'confusing' or unacceptable or something? Very few good and original movies have been produced by the US in the past few years, so they believe that copying already existing stories is going to solve this problem? Pathetic.

This show is Fantastic. Watched both seasons years ago and just started watching it again. Sonya Cross is great.

I don't mean to troll, but Saga Noren is IMPOSSIBLE to match. Go write your own stuff America, because Bron|Bröen is something you'll never be able to match, you'll never even reach it's heels. Watch the original Swedish/Danish series and tell me if not.

The show was not meant to be about El Paso's beauty or culture it's about a serial killer on the loose. I'm actually surprised and glad Hollywood even considered us. I like this show

Sofia Helin is better actress than Diane Kruger in this role! Without comparison !!
The original version is the only one valid for me.

Seen all the Swedish movies, and have read all of the books. David Fincher is a pretty great director, and I think both movies are great in their own way. The US version was not a remake, but a separate adaptation of the source material, and the writer of the screenplay didn't even watch Oplevs swedish adaptation. The result is two great movies.

Must say the original series is much better than the remake, actors are much better, especially Saga Noren. Her version in the American version is just too flat and empty

I'm watching the original Swedish-Danish production. Much better than the American!!!! I don't know why these channels insist on giving us (American audience) their cheapest and dumbest versions of great foreign series.

Haven't see the Swedish/Danish show, but this one is about murders at the Mex/USA border, so it is pretty local. Juarez murder, drugs trafficking and drug consumption in US, etc... such a terrible reality.
