Awesome, extremely useful. Many thanks. Could we put "once" for no. 7 ? Please make more videos like this explaining the reasoning behind. I'm taking the CPE in June.

Great lesson, maestro! Would like to listen to more CPE task analyses. But I have a question. Aren't prepositions in phrasal verbs called "particles"? That's what I saw in Enterprise 4.

0:20 Actually I find this part pretty easy. In my view part 4 (Key word Transformations) is the MOST DIFFICULT one. There are some expressions required as well as collocations that the majority of candidates have never encountered before! Do they expect us to guess the answers at that very moment??? I think it is impossible...

@MrSkypelessons, thank you very much! Would "given that" have been appropriate for nr 13 and would "onto" instead "of" "to" have been okay for number 10 ? Thanks very much!

Hello Sir, So for no 13, it is about reduced relative clause but put it in front of the sentence? why the answer is not 'considered'?

Hi Dave!

Would it be correct to put “Provided” that bla, bla, bla in 13?

Thank you!

Hello! In 7 is it possible for the answer to be “After”

I'm afraid no.5 is giving me a little headache.
Why can't 'fill', instead of 'filled', be considered as an equally valid answer?
If we correlate the missing verb with the immediately preceding chunk 'to answer questions', instead of the 'filed through' bit, the whole sentence still makes perfect sense to me. In other words, using a bare infinitive to introduce the second item of reasons for filing through.
Why should this choice be discarded?

The CPE has been revised in 2013 so the topics that you are talking about do not exist any more. To be honest the new CPE examination is much more difficult than the old one...
