Great review! There's an OTA update thar helps reduce about 50% of the issues with those darn joysticks.

Yes I agree, the boot up when I turned was more impressive than usual and reminds me of the Evercade boot up.

RE Zero runs surprisingly well, and a bunch of others on the MMj2 that has been pre-installed.

Thanks for the review. I usually won't buy a handheld if the left joystick isn't on top. It just makes more sense considering the games that use the analog stick best also use the triggers more often. If the Retroid Pocket 3+ had the left stick up top I would have ordered that. I'm really thinking about the KT-R1. Check that one out if you haven't already.

You might want to try the Retroid Pocket 3+. Same chip, better controls.

Does the retroid pocket 3+ have the same power as the 505 since they have an identical chipset?

Would you say It should not be expect to get better performance on the rp3+ when compared to the same emulators on the 505?

I think you may have gotten a defective battery, other reviewers have gotten much more battery than the hours you were quoting, but even if you did that's not very good qc

Just goes to show that no matter how good the hardware is (assuming that the hardware is installed as per manufacturer requirements), if the software does not optimise it then it is as good as useless.

I was seriously considering a Win600... but I hate the left joystick being so low. terrible ergonomics for any stick game.

I think your battery is not good or I got lucky, I have a lot of this retro handheld under 200, and think this one is one of the best, I don’t have the rp3+ but have the rp3 and it’s good but very hard to set up, this works out the box, didn’t have to get no bio pack-came with roms, you can switch the sd card(I put the sd card from my rg353p) getting this rom and bio is hard for me
