Interesting. Seems strange to me to be applying dynamic effects like compression before EQ when mixing, especially with the low end being so much louder before EQing, you don't want sound that will be cut out to be affecting the compressor I'd imagine. Also the de-esser at the end of the chain is also very weird to me, if you added air to the vocals in EQ, it's going be dulled out by the de-esser. I honestly don't understand the thought process for this order of plug ins.

Bro I swear Vocal Rider does *Nothing* to my vocals. I could use it a MILLION different ways but the dynamics always stay the exact same. The only thing that works is the gain control on the right lol.

I gotta be doing something wrong, right? Maybe my vox are too dynamic and aggressive? Maybe I just haven’t found the right tutorial. Think you could make a tutorial on how to use it?
