I’d like to point out the phrasing of the line “I’m the one who can’t be killed.” On paper, it reads as a determined battle cry, but becomes tragic as you realize that Clover can come back from death as many times as they like, but all they need to do is whittle down Martlet once. It must be genuinely terrifying to be filled with incomprehensible power and still see your opponent more determined than you.

Ok but for real I love when the second phase hits you can feel Martlet getting more scared and the facade she puts up in the first phase go away as she starts reiterating lyrics from Protocol, and how her reverb breaks for a moment.
