"I was programmed, you are angry in a sense we're both the gun" is flat out amazing. Axis is the gun because his programming makes him one. Clover is the gun because they think they are bestowing justice. This is a weapon with a soul, against a soul with a weapon.

While in Guns Blazing axis is talking about how amazing he is. Here he is seen singing in a more defensive manner and focusing less on himself, talking about the other robots and about how everything clover does is wrong.

2:39 i like the way the lyrics are used here. Axis was supposed to capture the dark blue soul human, but due to a glitch, his prime directive changed to "kill the humans" and no one could stop him brutally killing them. Not the human, not Chujin, who arrived too late to stop him. Not even Axis could stop himself from doing that.

I love that instead of a line that directly refers to Axis murdering the previous human, instead there's all the subtle, clever references to it throughout the song (repeated lines about 'having no control' and 'you have a choice, we don't' and Axis calling Clover 'another violent soul'' since the blue soul human attacked monsters as well)

Cool detail that the subtitles turn normal once Clover is about to kill AXIS. Axis' bassicaly using his best and last efforts to plead for mercy

Something I love about Axis’ broken speech is how instead of being the simple “replace O with 0”, it’s literally placing 1 in between the word “one”, and adding equal signs and dashes between sentences. And then there’s the example of the actual song name itself, which just has an underscore at the end. It shows just how much Axis has been destroyed, as well as how desperate he is to save everyone.

I LOVE the corrupted vocals and tightly-written lyrics. Guns Blazing had some really spicy lyrics due to how well they flowed and THIS is no different. I love how deceptively introspective and terrifying these lyrics are as well. I am ecstatic at this iteration of the song, it's fantastic.

Noticing the "private war" and equating Clover to just a gun (while also comparing himself to one as well this time which is really cool) coming back in this song.
Also absolutely love how Axis tries to argue for the lives of the robots through much of his Freedom to be Flawed reasoning from his neutral ending fight.
And of course the ending is perfect, Axis arguing that Clover has a choice where he never did, before being silenced for good.

I’ve always seen Axis shown as this robot with no obvious soul or emotion, just a machine that’s curious about its surroundings and determined to complete its objectives. To see their act completely flipped on its head showing that Axis didn’t want to kill the 5th human but was required to because of its program is a nice change of pace.

My favourite from no mercy. At first I was a bit bummed that this didn't follow the song more. But then it hit me. This sounds like Axis is trying to sing Guns Blazing. But he can't. And the recontextualized lines work BRILLIANTLY for this. And this actually keeps the original as a fire background track. This compliments it and brings forward why it works so well
