How do you get pure gas though? Everything I get is mixed where can I purchase genuine gas for industrial purposes. Not ballon helium or mixed gases that are 20% air. So frustrating

Can you Make a video on how to Mig weld copper with copper wire using a helium gas method

Does the argon helium last any longer or is it just a gas in the bottle

hi. I have to solder some car sheet metal. I have a tiny inverter machine with tig torch and 1 mm tungsten. I tried directly con the sheet and went pretty decent. when I tried to solder butt-joint I had to be very fast and burned and perforated the sheet. that was with argon. is there a chance to minimizar that using helium instead? I have no chance to lower the amperage any less. thanks a lot, regards

The statement in the begining of the video contradicts the actual results shown . He states that the argon gas has a more focused arc beam and that argon keeps the heat in the gas . Whereas the helium dissipates the heat more rapidly away from the gas .

but the argons focused beam that contains the heat more has a more difficult time creating a puddle . and the heliums arc which does not even have a bright white center melts the metal instantly .

I think that the heliums ionization level suggests that the heat from the electrode to the metal will get to it with less interruption because the small amount of electrons on the helium atom . where as the argon atom has many electrons to swap and exchange locations during ionization.

What if you used 100% Helium? whats the advantage of Argon?

I'm guessing this is an AC Tig Setup?

I can remember the basics - He = hotter. But I got confused bc you didn't say why more electrons actually results in lower ionization potential, for Ar. Also, AFICS the arc voltage difference (by the meter) is not very great - about 10%.
BTW - nobody's mentioned the cost of He or where to get it. Heard it's wowsa expensive - get a quote.
