Ain't no one know what it takes for arc shots like this. Thank you!

Mad respect to the Aluminum TIG welders who don't have thier hertz cranked up to ridiculous amounts.

"Real nice and wet all the way down in the throat"... is this about welding?

Not everyone can hold a steady hand, that’s just the way it is. I know guys with unsteady hands who still have better welds than guys who don’t have that issue lol so let’s not bash this dude

I would go straight helium with dc polarity🤩

Best arc shot i've ever seen on youtube

I thought the point of the Helium was to eliminate the need for preheat. Also when I was using it at an old job, we used regular CFH for argon, and had a separate line for helium, and would just get the ball bouncing at like 2-4 CFH 😮

Your settings were off.
Should be able to move way faster/ less heat in the part with that gas blend.

What was that, like 40hz 😂 it was vibrating my brain!

Which tungsten and filler rod are you using

The puddle is a little bit dirty because u need to keep the rod more close to cup in gas coverage. Never pull it out of gas coverage area. Nice beads though coming from a pro aluminum tig welder.

Not a good idea to put that much heat into 60 series aluminum in an industrial setting. 60 series loses a lot of strength when heated. Around 30% strength loss. Especially around the heat affected zone. But also most of the time in an industrial setting you almost never use tig on a t-joint. Its always usually pulse/profile pulse mig. Corners are usually the only thing ever tigged. Even then the technology now a days is good enough to be welded with pulse instead. Usually now its either a cosmetic thing or if its going to be walked passed, rubbed, touched.

Lo que interesa es el acabado y el hombre de verdad tiene muy muy buen pulso aunque le tiembla la mano la soldadura le está quedando genial

I've welded steel with TIG but aluminium is quite noisy than that! It sounds like AM radio interference 😊

I used to do 1 inch and the machine was pegged and it was a 500 amp machine

welding videos on YouTube are always surprising to me as I am a long time welder but for 20 of the 25 years I've been welding the material I Weld is so thin it makes most welding videos look like they are in slow motion. When your material is .4 mm thick you gotta kind of be on the fast paced welding setting ha. I sometimes miss the thick shit

How do you get the puddle so easily? I clean and clean, but it turns black and will never bead up

What size cup are you using for something like this?

I think this proves being a bit shaky doesn't affect smoothness of laying the filler 😎

Ese rasguño del aporte no recomiendo hacerlo para evitar proyecciones.
