How to optimize after effects to get no lag.

This video it shows you how to optimize after effects to get little to no lag.
This obviously depends on your specs of your computer but ever since doing this i get little to no lag and crashing.

Bro whenever i edit 30 fps videos in 30 fps composition. The videos lags while having preview but when i change fps of composition from 30 to 60 the video plays nicely can i know why??
