I ignored dips for ages, since starting I’ve realised how amazing they are for triceps! Especially if you struggle to do many reps, the potential is great and once it gets easy you can add weights. Honestly if you want big and defined triceps all you need is dips and cable push downs. Try it and see

There’s a reason dips are called the upper body squat. It’s a compound movement. I find it to be a fantastic long head Tricep exercise than a chest exercise.

I did this 20 years ago from a men’s health and actually blew my arms up in Maybe 2 months. For biceps I did preacher curl burnouts. All beginner gains

Now that i can comfortably do unassisted dips for reps, it's become one of my favorite exercises. Great for hitting tri's and chest, plus when doing them for chest u get a really great stretch. This is my finisher to 80% of my workouts.

If I don't do the following:-
Conventional Deadlift, Flat Bench (Barbell), Military (Overhead) Press, Dips and squats.
My gains are significantly reduced. I recommend definitely doing all the above excercises at least.
