Free charging is definitely the highlight for me. This month alone, so far I've saved $21.85 by charging my car for free at the local gym using ChargePoint. I save a similar amount each month, which is amazing because I don't have to spend extra money on a faster charger for my home and if I need some more charge it won't cost much either. It's not that big of a deal but It's definitely an amazing to have. I also liked is how quiet it is on long highway drives. I can hardly even tell when it switches from electric power to the engine. I even took it on a road trip from Albany, NY to Charlotte, NC and back and the fuel efficiency and overall drive was impressive throughout the journey.

Hi LSFT ! Thanks for your detailed feedback, and very interesting to see your perspective. As you know, on my side, living in south of France, mild temperatures and fine climate don't cause issues with the front radar, the 12V battery or the door handle. I am also lucky that my induction charger works great with my Samsung S21 and I was happy that 3 successfull OTA updates have solved a few issues overtime, since 1 year... I realize that on my side, this context increases my satisfaction to the top, quite higher than with my previous NX300h which I found great already... Happy to share more details sooner or later !

One thing I noticed with the new NX is that the dashboard material gets scratched very easily. Becareful when cleaning that part of the car.

Thanks for the update. Yes, it is odd that no SW updates for a year. And the worthless wireless charging pad just add to the lost of lustre of the Lexus image- my first one. I am having some 12v battery issues even on my 350h, but also am using a tricky charger to assist the battery. But that wireless charger issue just has no work around unless Lexus offers a fix apparently. Hope they do look at the user forums and address us early adopters soon.

Hi LSFT. Lexus Australia have just stopped taking any further orders for the NX450h+! They're saying the demand has caused the waiting time to blow out to 2025!! Therefore they have ceased taking further orders till further notice. In 2022 they delivered only 230 vehicles and are holding orders now in excess of 1000. They've also received criticism for poor communication in spite of Lexus Aus claiming they're doing a great job keeping everyone informed. (I get a short text message every 5 weeks, no other contact!)

Yo LSFT it’s already 12 months of ownership great stuff.You pretty much nailed your experience with the NX450h+. In our case it looks like we might get RX450h+ first before the NX450H + by end of this year and the RZ450e sometime next year. Lexus South Africa is currently conducting feasibility test with the UX300e and NX450h+ especially with our power outage and charging infrastructure.

The winter snow also blocked my sensors in my 22 NX350h. I wish there was a heating element in the Lexus logo

Hi LSFT, would love for you to do a piece on yr experience with the tyres. When you I'd love to know if you prefer the 'run flats' or whether you are considering regular summer tyres. Also, are yr winter tyres run flats? If not, what puncture repair solution do you carry? Fantastic channel, thanks its so informative.

Hi LSFT! Great video! This is such a thorough comparison on efficiency and the cost. I have the fully loaded NX350 F Sport (non-hybrid), my gestimation was similar to your accurate calculation. It will take 10 years to even out if I got a NX450. But you also have 10 years of more powerful experience too! The reaosn I didnt go for 450 was my apartment is not convenient for charging an EV.
Do you know how much does the NX450 battery cost? How long will it last? Will you have to change it within 10 years?
I would be happy to see if you add that cost in, in that case, how many years it will take to even out with an NX350?
But again, you still got the additional horse power experience. So I would say the extra cost was for the power and experience, not the efficiency nor to spend less . :)

Is there any hidden option to increase the brightness of the ambient lights inside the car? At the maximum setting it is still barely visible

Hi LSFT! I think the charge mode would be great if you need to deplete your gas to refill every 3 months to remove the gunk! I guess the only real question Is if there any sort of draw back from using charge mode?

Thanks for the videos... really helpful to new owners like myself. I've had the vehicle now for 2 months now and we love it. We still have 3 quarters of gas in the car, amazing. I did install a 240 volt plug at home and were just using the adapter from ev doctor. Just wanted to ask you if that is normal. I usually get 66-69 km range after charging then lately, not sure what happened. I'm only getting 61.3 km range after charging? Thanks in advance.

Such interesting info. LSFT as a latest update can you give me an indication of your tyre wear? The 450 has 'run flats' and I'm told the rate they wear is high? I'm wondering what level of km you'd estimate as being their life too? Also, how do you find them? Thanks again for the great information
