I got a tip for you. Bring your elbow in a just a couple degrees more toward your body. Your shooting arm is just slightly slanted. You don’t want to be slanted.

Also if you shoot from behind your head and or make your arms stronger, you can shoot without lifting your feet off the ground.. I can now shoot threes without lifting my feet off the ground, just using knees, arms and toes! Good luck!

I don’t get how you and other nba players are able to get power from your shot when you are in mid air and not as soon as you jump.

Don’t square your feet to the basket! You want your shooting hip and elbow aligned with the basket not your feet!
