As much as I really REALLY love Walt Disney’s version of Mary Poppins, I can understand why she is feeling fustrated as they clearly were not taking any notice of her. She was the author and creator of the character at the end of the day. No wonder she never agreed to do another sequel.

I enjoyed this scene even though it’s very over-the-top, which I assume is why the filmmakers deleted it. The idea of Pamela constantly interrupting the song the same way George Banks does with the kids in the movie is pretty funny. At the same time: Pamela is breaking character, and being a little too hysterical, so I can see why it was cut out.
