"When the sun goes down it gets pretty dark". Thanks for clearing that up.

Man, the sound acoustic changes so drastically when you enter the room from the kitchen at 6:06. I know there are a lot of stuff in the room but man i believe it is the Rockwool magic going on right there.

Does everyone receive a trucker hat as soon as they get to Nashville?

The rock wall insulation is hands down the best thing for sound absorption. Especially when you won’t be paying crazy amounts for just the flimsy foam panels

I love the fact that you took your time building the structure and properly treating your room. Great quality as well Andrew. Notification bell engaged, lol.

I'm building a studio in my home as well. I actually had a lot of the same ideas as you had, but some stuff I haven't considered. I like how you made the bass traps as doors for storage, and I also had not considered the cloud on the ceiling.

Just so you know: mixing different Flow Resistivity insulation and leaving a small (150mm) air gap from the wall, creates a better absorption on low frequencies. For example:

Fabric | 25mm Dacron | 200mm Fiberglass | 25mm Rock Wool | Air gap 150mm
Fabric | 2.5k mk/rayls | 5.6k mk/rayls 12kg | 17k mk/rayls 48kg | Air gap 150mm

I got that information from multiple studio designers. As well, from John Sayers and John H. Brandt.
